It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest A. Clark of Durham, Connecticut, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ernest A. Clark to pay them a last tribute.
Though Ernest may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ernest touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Clark and Marion Clark (Banta); and his siblings, Hazel, Raymond, Charlton Clark, Cynthia Bardon and Doris Bunnell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Elmer Clark (Gwen) and Daisy Hall (Britt). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Doolittle Funeral Home (14 Old Church St, Middletown, CT 06457). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at 228 Main St, Durham, CT 06422.
