He was predeceased by: his parents, George Angst and Helen Angst (Shelley); and his sister Katherine Pryor. He is survived by: his wife Marie (Doherty); his daughter Patricia; his son-in-law Randy Eick of Middletown; his adoptive daughter Carole Benard of Florida; his pets, Weezie, Jack and Cooper; and his close friends, Scotty and Donny. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be held on Thursday, May 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Colman's Church (170 Hubbard St, Middlefield, CT 06455).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
