He was predeceased by: his father Thomas Zabit; and his pet Kira. He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Tarantino; his daughters, Jacqueline, Skylar, Carrie and Lynn Zabit; his mother Elaine Zabit; and his sisters, Heidi Zabit and Gretchen Young (Kenny). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
