She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Leigus and Julia Carmodey Leigus; and her daughter Julie Gervasi. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Bensenhaver (William) of Rockfall and Cindi Pietrzyk (Stephen) of Killingworth; her grandchildren, Sara Bensenhaver, Steven Bensenhaver, Charley Rose Pietrzyk (Gian Marco), Samantha Pietrzyk and Kailey Pietrzyk; and her siblings, Judey Pearson and Charles Leigus of Durham.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Notre Dame Church (272 Main St, Durham, CT 06422).
