Rosemarie Pieta Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosemarie Pieta of Durham, Connecticut, who passed away on November 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dlugolenski and Stacia Dlugolenski (Rebut); her husband John J. Pieta Sr.; and her sister Barbara Santangelo. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Savitsky of Colchester, Kathleen Cunningham (Wil) of Florida, John J. Pieta Jr. (Shanna) of Wallingford, David L. Pieta of Durham and Susan Bianchi (Damian) of Durham; her grandchildren, Eric Savitsky, Daniel Savitsky, Jason Savitsky, Robert Kulig, Lynnette Bellemare, Melanie Pieta, Stephanie Pieta, John Pieta III, Amelia Bianchi, Christina Bianchi and Damian Paul Bianchi; and her great grandchildren, Kamrin, Weston, Madison, Savannah, Ryan and Gavin.
