He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Maria Sanders (Vaivao); his wife Debra Sanders of Tolland, CT; his children, Noah Sanders of Tolland, CT, Melissa Dowling (Matt) of Wethersfield, CT and Autumn Sanders (Jack Tattersall) of Thomaston, CT; his grandchildren, Nora and Cameron Dowling "Hi Tama"; his siblings, Joseph (Dorothy Vaivao), Raymond Jr. (Sue Sanders), Leonard (Sue Sanders), Alton Jones of Ellington, CT, Agnes Morrow of Phoenix, AZ, Maria Key of Las Vegas, NV, Elizabeth (Johnny Johnston) and Trisha (Brett Dickerson); and his close friend Angela Cunningham of East Haddam, CT. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Ct State Veteran's Cemetery (317 Bow Ln, Middletown, CT 06457).
