He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Kesterke (Moore); his siblings, Pamela, Roger Mirabito, Donald, Susan Kesterke (Bergen), Richard, Michele Kesterke (Misch), Darlene and Shawn Palmatier; and his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Mirabito, Abbey (Mirabito), Sean Stevens, Lauren (Kesterke), Yazan Hamad, Mackenzie Kesterke, Lilia Kesterke, Bradi (Misch), Kyle Worley, Ryan, Renata Kesterke (Fontes Mariano), Taylor Kesterke, Kayley Palmatier and Brenden Palmatier.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation, John Hopkins Gallbladder and Bile Duct Research, or the Emory University Cholangiocarcinoma Research Fund.
