He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Prince and Willie Prince (Robinson); his son Robert M. Robinson; and his siblings, Alvie Napier and Wanda Sue Scalora.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Robinson (Venturella); his children, Eddie E. Robinson, Jr. of Rocky Hill and Tammy Robinson of Bristol; and his grandchildren, Thomas, Luciana and Micayla. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
