Richard Burnham Obituary
The passing of Richard Burnham of East Hampton, Connecticut occurred on October 5, 2026. Richard, born on March 15, 1932, is remembered by those who knew him. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Burnham and Frances Burnham (Pranowitz); and his sister Shirley Grimes (Burnham). He is survived by: his wife Leonida "Lee" Burnham; his sons, Richard "Rick" (Vickie), Kevin (Patty) and Glenn (Evelyn); and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Kyle and Logan. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spencer Funeral Home (112 Main St, East Hampton, CT 06424). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1 E High St, East Hampton, CT 06424).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dick's memory to the East Hampton Ambulance Association or Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
