With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven R. Kastel of East Hampton, Connecticut, who passed away on January 5, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles M. Kastel and Patricia Kastel (Lawler). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kastel (Rocholl); his children, Matthew (Chloe Sonnichsen), Morgan Garofalo (Marcus) and Ian (Jess Aleksiewicz); his grandchildren, Isla, Eli, Wren, Wyatt and Nora; his sister Kathleen Sadocha of Howard Beach, NY; his nieces and nephews, Robert, Eric Swain and Lisa-Marie Hyde; his sister Barbara Coyne of Clearwater, FL; and his nephews, Hugh and Steven Coyne.
