Eugene P. Ayotte Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2024, at the age of 91, Eugene P. Ayotte of East Hartford, Connecticut, born in Van Buren, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Patrick Ayotte and Phoebe Ayotte (Martin); and his siblings, Joel, Claude, Gilman Ayotte, Yvette Garvey, Mariette Delong, Carmen Ayotte and Juliette Ayotte.
He is survived by : his children, Lisa Jean Bento (Leo) of Hebron, Diane McCabe (Timothy) of South Windsor and Gary Ayotte (Dani) of South Windsor; his grandsons, Matthew McCabe (Jennifer), Jeffrey McCabe (Sarah), Bryan McCabe (Olivia), Archer Bento, Gregory Bento, Scott Bento and Phillip Ayotte; his great grandchildren, Chase, Emma, Riley, Ellie and Payton McCabe; and his sister Patricia Dumont. He is also survived by numerous in-laws, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fisher House Connecticut, which provides temporary housing to Veterans and their families while receiving treatment at the VA Hospital in West Haven.
