He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jr. Ruddy and Gail Ruddy (Lawrence); and his brothers, Christopher Ruddy and Brett Donovan Ruddy. He is survived by: his friend Eric DeRoehn; his siblings, Robert Ruddy of East Hartford, Kim DeRoehn (David) of Lebanon and Chantelle Donovan Ruddy of East Hartford; his nieces and nephews, Robert (Marissa), Christopher, Carlee and Chaniyah; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Robbie and Charlie. He is also survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family, and dear friends.
