He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer and Alethea Cruickshanks (LaDuke). He is survived by: his partner John "Jack" P. Lane Jr. of East Hartford; and his brothers, Robert Cruickshanks (Patty) of Granby and Donald Cruickshanks (Jeanne) of West Suffield. He is also survived by his brother and sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
