He is survived by: his wife Diane; his child Jere Martin (Vicki) of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Desmond, Sherod Martin, Walter Martin (Bethany) of Georgia, Jameson, Ayden, Tara Thompson of Connecticut and Christian Monts. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
