He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Madeline Parlato Sarno; his daughters, Debra DeFilippo (Richard) of East Haven and Sandra Capobianco (Vincent) of East Haven; his grandchildren, Alysha Burns, David (Hannah Freundlich), Daniel (Jessica Mascola) and Nicholas DeFilippo; and his siblings, William Sarno (Sue) of West Haven, Louis, Frank Sarno, Maryann Mendoza and Jeannie Sarno.
