She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Coates and Shirley Gell Coates; and her brothers, Frederick W. "Billy" Coates and David A. Coates. She is survived by: her husband John Hinckley; her children, Jennifer Hinckley (Jason Stewart) of East Haven and Jason Hinckley (Meredith Krake); her stepgrandson Avarey Krake of Springfield, MA; and her brother Thomas Coates of New Haven.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home (244 N Main St, Branford, CT 06405). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
