It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertha Torto of East Haven, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on June 25, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony LaBanca and Bertha G. LaBanca; and her siblings, Theresa Perez, Audrey Hansen, Jim LaBanca and Anthony Louis LaBanca.

She is survived by: her son Lawrence H. Torto Jr. (Linda Sekac) of East Haven; her grandchildren, Jon Torto, Jennifer Wood (Robert), Lawrence H. Torto III, Victoria E. Torto and Campbell J. Torto; and her great grandchildren, Robert, Avonlea, Ty and Carter Wood.
