It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carmella Gabrielli of East Haven, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nunzio Ansaldo and Maria Ansaldo (Celentano); and her siblings, Nancy Higley, Clare Intelisano, Rose DellaSpina, Maria Ansaldo, Louis Ansaldo, Anthony Ansaldo, Joseph Ansaldo and Alfred Ansaldo.
She is survived by: her husband Nicholas Gabrielli; her daughters, Patricia Gabrielli of Guilford and Judith Pospesil (Edward) of Guilford; her granddaughter Cara Pospesil; and her sister-in-law Caroline Scorel. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
