She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Massaro and Elizabeth Massaro (Arpino); her husband Lester Thomas; her granddaughter Amy Diaz; and her sister Dorothy Tolento.
She is survived by: her daughters, Michelle Kaliszekski (late John Kaliszekski) of Hamden, Cynthia DeRosa of New Haven and Elizabeth Diaz (Rudolph) of Torrington; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Krista, Christina, Thomas, Joseph, Matthew, Ricky, Geraldo, Nicole, Caroline, Rudolph and Sean; and her brother Vincent Massaro. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
