He was predeceased by: his sisters, Barbara Roberts and Marion Butler Cote. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Thomas; his sons, Donald "Skip" W. Thomas III (Alberta Vitale) and Scott R. Thomas (Joseph Misdraji); his grandson David W. Thomas; and his brother Gregory V. Thomas (B. J.). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and more old friends.
