He is survived by : his mother Elizabeth Tripp (Shepa); his stepfather Calvin Tripp, Jr.; his children, Chelci Whitney, Tyler and Ryan Whitney; his brothers, Christopher Tripp (Cindy) and Brian Tripp, Sr. (Jennifer); his nephews, Brian and Nicholas Tripp; his niece Gabriella Tripp; his aunt Carolyn Tripp; and his uncle John Tripp (Dana).
