In the vast expanse of eternity, Doris shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Doris farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard J. Sullivan Sr.; her parents, William Champlin and Jennie Champlin; her stepmother Margaret Champlin; and her siblings, Robert, Herbert, William Champlin, Betty O'Brien and Shirley Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Bernard John Sullivan (Beverly), Lori Sisk (Edward) and Dori Marias (Paul). She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Pompeii Church (355 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (73 Sheffield St, Old Saybrook, CT 06475).
