It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy A. Orso of East Haven, Connecticut, born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 29, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Tourangeau and Josephine Savinelli Tourangeau; her son Michael Vercillo; and her brother Anthony Tourangeau. She is survived by: her husband John Orso; her children, Tracy Bonito (Joseph), Lori Ferraiolo, Julie Amodio (Vinnie), Alisa Orso and Scott Orso; her siblings, Joan McGovern, Laura McHugh, Donna Cifaldi, John Tourangeau, Dennis Tourangeau and Kevin McHugh; her grandchildren, Angela Noble (Dylan), Joseph Bonito III (Sabrina), Nicole Perrone (Dominic), Danielle Giordano (Justin), Vincent Amodio (Nicole), Michael Amodio (Porsha) and Vincent "Jimmy" Vercillo; her great grandchildren, Londyn, Lennox, Luca, Livi, Marina and Lucia; and her son-in-law Robert "Murphy" Ferraiolo.
