She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos R. Stewart; her son Miles E. "Eddie" Stewart; her siblings, Carol Bias, Ester Zulke, Awilda Hughs, Alma Patterson, Hazel Lawson, Isom, George, Chester and Bonner Foster; and her parents, Bonner Foster and Edna Bias Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos R. Stewart Jr. of East Haven, Patricia Santomassimo (Edward) of East Haven, Connie Stewart of East Haven, Ronald L. Stewart (Carolyn) of Milford, Lawrence A. Stewart of Branford and Janice Cicarelli of North Haven; and her siblings, Mabel Holstein, Archie, Dewayne and Thomas Foster. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 1 great greatgrandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Porto Funeral Home (234 Foxon Rd, East Haven, CT 06513). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Promise Land Church (240 Burwell Rd, West Haven, CT 06516).
