He was predeceased by: his spouse Beverly J. Hine Mealey; his child Eddie H. Mealey III; and his siblings, Carol Black, William and Richard Mealey.
He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Evans (Stephen) of Northford, Jeffrey Mealey (Michelle) of Naugatuck, Roxanne Mealey of East Haven and Toni Dashukewich (Steven) of Plainville; his sister Sue Feller (James) of Milford; and his sibling's children, William and Marion Black of West Haven. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
