He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Ahern and Catherine "Kay" Ahern (Ryan). He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Ahern (late Chick Ierardi) of Bantam, CT, Steven Ahern of East Haven, Joseph Ahern (Geri Yeske) of Westbrook and Karl Sagal of New Hampshire; his nephew Drew Sagal; and his niece Kaili Sagal. He is also survived by many cousins and friends, especially his friends at Vic’s Cafe.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (43 Kirkham Ave, East Haven, CT 06512). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:40 PM at the same location.
