He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward D. Caso and Prudence Caso (Cusano); and his daughter Jacqueline Caso. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Caso of Cheshire and Edward J. Caso, Jr. (Lenore Carrone) of Cheshire; his granddaughters, Diane, Sandra and Kathy; his sisters, Gail Salmon of Charlotte, NC and Joyce Diglio (Salvatore) of Hamden; his grandchildren, Jordyn Bowman (Phillip), Lucas Guliuzza, Bria Mangione (Ricky), Chandler Pierson (Erik), Noelle Valentín (Christian) and Nadia Caso; and his great grandchildren, Adaline, Paul Bowman, Delia Mangione and Elsie Pierson.
