The memory of Elissa R. Amendola of East Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on November 13, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband James Amendola; her parents, Andrew DeMartino and Louise Puzziello DeMartino; and her brothers, Leo and Ralph DeMartino.
She is survived by: her children, Laurie Gambardella and Ron Gambardella (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Domenic Mezzanotte (Lisa) and Andrea Paolella (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Giada, Louis Mezzanotte, Michael and Matthew Paolella.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. (11 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Michael Church (29 Wooster Pl, New Haven, CT 06511).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
