She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellsworth Evarts and Martha Furlong Evarts; and her siblings, Philip, Robert McDermott, Ellsworth Evarts, Elaine Dressler and Mary Carr.
She is survived by: her husband Robert C. Stevens; her children, Martha Cusano (Joseph) of East Haven, Kathleen LaPia (James) of Branford, Bonnie Cacace (Jack) of East Haven and Robert C. Stevens, Jr. of Wallingford; and her grandchildren, Dayna, David, Brian, John, Lisa, Branden and Robert.
