He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Germe and Bettina "Betty" Germe (Morgillo); his son Gennaro Michael Germe Jr.; his granddaughter Kayla; and his sister Marie Elaine Germe.
He is survived by: his children, Walter Joseph Germe (Brenda) of New Haven and Tina Maturo of East Haven; and his siblings, Frank Germe (Joanne) of Hamden, Joanne DeCato (Art) of Branford, Anthony Germe (Angela) of New Haven and Nunzio "Chuck" Germe of Branford. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
