She was predeceased by: her parents, Lednad Lewis and Annie Lewis Smith; and her siblings, Orlander Lewis, Thomas Harold Lewis (Hal), Nathaniel William Smith (Smitty), Raymond Smith and Mary Smith Lennon.
She is survived by: her children, Qadry Harris of New Haven, Leonard Harris, Jimmie Harris of Hamden, Connecticut., Glennie Harris-Roberts (Martin) of Hamden and Berthinia McClendon (Anthony) of Meriden, Connecticut.; her grandchildren, Lynn Harris, Malkom Harris, Valencia McClendon, Bryce McClendon and Tala Harris; her great grandchildren, Kennedy Lyons, Maya McClendon and Bryson McClendon; and her sister-in-law Bessie Smith of New Haven. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
