He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Coppola and Margaret Gambardella Coppola; and his siblings, Ralph, Joseph, John, William Coppola, Rose D'Amato and Helen Lickteig.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ginnetti Coppola; his children, Harry J. Coppola, Jr. of East Haven, Lisa Ross (Les) of Milford and Laura Halliday (Raymond) of North Haven; his siblings, Salvatore Coppola (Gloria) of Branford, Anthony Coppola (Phyllis) of East Haven, James Coppola of West Haven and Mary LaFogg of Branford, Anna; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Michael Toscano, Danielle of Donald and Nicholas DiBianco. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
