It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Nigro of East Haven, Connecticut, born in Brooklyn, Connecticut, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William D'Andrea and Mary D'Andrea (Barbato); her daughter Valarie Nigro; and her siblings, Ann Cappella, Gus D'Andrea, Rachael DeFillippo and Janet Girimonte.
She is survived by: her husband John Nigro; her children, Denise Treusch (Jeff) of East Haven and John Nigro Jr. of East Haven; her grandsons, Jeffrey Treusch (Alessandra Taddei) and Michael Nigro; and her great grandchild Jacs Treusch.
