He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mahon and Madeline Mahon (Esposito); his wife Jacquelyn Mahon (Simowski); his son Henry T. Mahon Jr. (Hank); his siblings, Thomas Mahon and Anna Mahon; his nephew Robert "RJ" McLoughlin; and his grandson Frederick Wilkins.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Wilkins of East Haven and Edward Mahon Sr. (Kathleen) of East Haven; his brother David Mahon (Judy) of Branford; his sister-in-law Sue Mahon of Florida; his grandchildren, Caitlin Bruce (Chance), Edward Mahon Jr., Timothy Wilkins, Aimee Mahon, Christine Mahon and Theresa Mahon; his great grandchildren, Arabella Mahon, Ali Ahmed Jr., Kiaree Bruce, Bailey Bruce and Chase Wilkins; and his nieces and nephews, Kimberly Fletcher (Jeff), Sheri Mahon, Josh Mahon (Alicia), Jesse Mahon, Jeff Mahon (Kasey) and Robert Mahon (Patty).
