With sadness, we share the passing of Jean Kelsey of East Haven, Connecticut. Jean, born on December 2, 1932, passed away on September 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Jean for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Jean’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences she brought to the world.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Bowden and Myrtle Bowden (Blake). She is survived by: her sons, Richard D. Pogmore Jr. (Terry) of Turbotville, PA and Charles T. Pogmore (Rosemarie) of Lebanon, CT; and her granddaughter Christine M. Lopes (Ed) of Mystic, CT. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 11:50 AM at the East Lawn Cemetery (58 River St, East Haven, CT 06512).
