We announce the death of Jean Schwartz (East Haven, Connecticut), who passed away on June 11, 2026, at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Schwartz; and her brother William Walsh. She is survived by: her pets, Penny, Milo, MeowMeow, Mamas, Cora, Mollymoo and Rex; her sister Joan Smith; her children, Audrey Elder, James Schwartz (Debbie Schwartz), Scott Schwartz (Pam Schwartz), Dan Schwartz (Myra Schwartz), Bill Schwartz (Sharon Schwartz) and Cliff Schwartz; her grandchildren, Chelsa Jones (Joseph Jones), Brandon Elder (Amy Elder), James Schwartz, Rebecca Schwartz, Melissa Sachtler (Randy Sachtler), Breanna Philbrook (John Philbrook), Kevin Hnatiuk, Nicolas Hnatiuk, Kevin Willets-Johnson and Cayden Willets-Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Kayla Jones, Joseph Jones Jr., Parker Sachtler, Lainey Sachtler, Ally Philbrook, Jude Philbrook and Luna Philbrook.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul (80 Taylor Ave, East Haven, CT 06512).
