It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Hurley of East Haven, Connecticut, born in Hamden, Connecticut, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKay and Margaret Mabel McKay (Brereton); her husband Frank Hurley; her siblings, William, James, Irving, Walter, John McKay, Marie, Frances and Elizabeth; and her stepfather Kenneth Stradley.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hurley (Betsy) of Lancaster, PA and Maureen Kennedy (Harold) of Hamden; her grandchildren, Matthew Hurley, Caitlin Raffone (Eric), Ryan Kennedy (Corrine) and Shannon Serra (Michael); her great grandchildren, Chase Raffone, Lia Raffone and Samantha Serra; and her caregivers, Melissa, Michelle, Katie, Debbie, Elizabeth, Lynn and Mike.
