She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Brigantic; her father Joseph Orzechowski; and her siblings, Francis, Stanley, John, Sophie, Ceil and Helen.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Chick (Dave) of East Haven and Charles "Chuck" Brigantic of East Haven; her grandchildren, Sarah Vlahos (Perry) of Wayne, PA, John Chick (Emily) of Norwalk, David Chick (Jennifer) of Hamden, Victoria Williams (Matthew) of Guilford, Maura Ayala (Rey) of Hamden, Mary Kate Hambright (Alexander) of Tucson, AZ, Colin of Hamden, Xing of Hamden and Ze-Xing Briganitic of Hamden; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Charlie Williams, Theodore, Anna Vlahos, Elliot, Anthony Chick and Holly Hambright; and her siblings, Mary Cortese and Fred Orrell of Stratford. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
