She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew DiBenedetto and Anna DiBenedetto; her husband John Ponzillo; and her siblings, Sam DiBenedetto (Marge), Virgilio DiBenedetto (Margaret) and Adeline Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph and Susan Ponzillo; her siblings, Anthony Rosario (late Eleanor), Emilio DiBenedetto (Sue) and Leanora "Lee" DeLoughery (late Robert); her grandsons, John and Matthew Ponzillo; and her great grandchild Dominic Paul.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the East Haven Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. (425 Main St, East Haven, CT 06512). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the East Lawn Cemetery (58 River St, East Haven, CT 06512).
