He was predeceased by: his grandfather Stanley. He is survived by: his parents, Edward J. Shields and Mary Orzechowski Shields; his brothers, Adam Shields (Christina Hackett) and Alex Shields; and his grandparents, Edward Ryan, Sue Shields, Statia Orzechowski, Eleanor Ryan and Lawrence Shields. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Entombment will be private and at the convenience of the family in the All Saints Mausoleum. (masks and social distancing strictly required for all services).
