She was predeceased by: her parents, Rose Pisciotto and Giuseppe Pisciotto; her husband Hector Picarello; her daughter-in-law Lydia; her sister Felicia Cavallo; and her son Frank.
She is survived by: her children, Hector Jr., Joseph, Marie (Micheal Jr) and Lisa (Thomas Basil); her great grandchildren, Vincent, Luciana Picarello, JoAnne, Joseph Jr., Caroline, Brandon Picarello, Micheal Solimine III, Marie Shampang and Tonimarie Basil; and her sisters, Rose Lins and Josephine Plagianos. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sisto Funeral Home (3489 E Tremont Ave, Bronx, NY 10465). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Saint Benedict's Church (2969 Otis Ave, Bronx, NY 10465). A burial was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Saint Raymond's Cemetery (2600 Lafayette Ave, Bronx, NY 10465).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
