He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Simiola and Maria Simiola (Frisketti); and his sister Theresa Simiola. He is survived by: his wife Toni-Ann Simiola (Casanova); his daughter Shannon Casanova (Tim Dagradi) of East Haven; his granddaughter Calliope-Ann Brashears; and his nephew Michael Anthony Casanova (Jordan Rachel Lee) of Australia.
