He is survived by: his wife Sally Hemingway of South Carolina; his children, Paul Hemingway Jr. of Hamden, Christine Imperati (Anthony) of Killingworth and Kevin Hemingway (Carmen) of Waterbury; his grandchildren, Alyssa Shibilski, Gabrella Inzero, Ava Imperati, Gianna Imperati, Sophia Imperati, LeAnnie Hemingway and Kevin Hemingway Jr.; his great grandchild Sebastian Vega; and his siblings, Robert Hemingway (Maria), Albert Hemingway (Debbie) and Lorraine Schneider (Barry). He is also survived by numerous nieces/nephews.
