He was predeceased by: his parents, Pietro Giacomini and Romilda Giacomini (Caponera); and his siblings, Salverio Giacomini, Mafalda Panza, Antonetta Annunziata, Pauline Pinto, Ida DeFelice, Angelina Nettleton Calandrella and Josephine DePillo.
He is survived by: his children, Peter Giacomini III of West Haven, Marlene Stellato (Chris) of North Haven and John Giacomini of Milford; his grandchildren, Nicole Stellato (Drew Felicello), Marcus Stellato and Gabriella Stellato; his sister Emma Lipka of Clinton; and his former wife Joanne Giacomini (CoFrancesco) of West Haven. He is also survived by numerous nieces/nephews.
