He was predeceased by: his parents, Fridolf Carlson and Annie Carlson (Stankard); and his siblings, Bernice Bellucci, Jean Ackerson, Viola Gill and Patricia Coppola.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Carlson (Rosiello); his children, Lisa Gras (Carlson), Robert W. Carlson Jr. (Maria) and Andrew Carlson (Gretchen); his grandchildren, Lola Carlson, Jonathan Carlson (Lena), Jessica (Carlson) and Aham (Calvin); and his great grandchild Emilia Mei Carlson.
