It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rose Vece of East Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Mascia and Filomena Mascia (Balsamo); her husband Joseph Vece Sr.; her granddaughter Kaitlyn Vece; and her siblings, Mary Fonte and Michael Mascia.
She is survived by: her children, Rhonda DeLeon of East Haven and Joseph Vece Jr. (Lorrie) of Parsippany, NJ; her grandchildren, Edwin "Junie" DeLeon, Kevin Vece and Christine Zoino (Bert); and her nephew Joe Fonte (Leah). She is also survived by numerous other nieces/nephews.
