Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruth Russo of East Haven, Connecticut, born in Acushnet, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 90, on May 21, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Ricketson and Edith Ricketson (Johnson); her husband Harold Russo, Sr.; and her son-in-law David Colella, III. She is survived by: her children, Harold Russo, Jr. (Mary) of Killingworth, Shirley Colella of New Haven, Sandra Maloney (Richard) of Hamden and Allen Russo (Ann) of Florida; and her grandchildren, Denise O'Reardon, David Colella, IV, Harold Russo, III, Joyce Lyons, Adam, Michael Russo, Patrick, Elizabeth, Ryan Maloney, James, Kevin McDonnell and Amy Pinaud.
Burial will be held privately with her family. All are asked to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Shirley's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
