He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Smullen and Dorothy Smullen; his girlfriend Carol Paige; his brother Steven Smullen; his children, Chrysta Paige of Wallingford and Jay Paige of Florida; his nieces and nephews, Sean Smullen (West Haven), William Smullen (Milford), Kelli Smullen (West Haven), Amy (Smullen) and Pettis (Milford); his close friend Dave Savageau; and his pet Sofie.
