It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Valerie Mongillo of East Haven, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on December 4, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Bogart and Claire Bogart (Marlowe); her husband John J. Mongillo; her daughter Marisa Lucibello; and her siblings, Noel Bogart (late Ruth), Jerome Bogart (late Michele), John Bogart (late Susan) and Marlowe Bogart (late Judy Bogart).

She is survived by: her children, Tracy Santino (Joseph) of East Haven, Stephen Mongillo (Laurie Moscato) of East Haven, Marlowe Ioime (Generosso) of Branford and Tara Mongillo (Eric Martins) of East Haven; her grandchildren, Joseph Santino III (Laura), Erika Santiago (Mariano), Brittany Greene (Eric), Matthew Lucibello, Jonathan Moscato and Michael Moscato; her great grandchildren, Kaleyshka Santiago, Raphael Santiago, Jayla Santiago, John Santiago, Dontaye Greene, Amari Greene, Janiya Greene, Amalia Santino, Guiseppe Santino and Pasquale Santino; her son-in-law Andrew Lucibello of East Haven; and her sister Adrienne Redding (Robert) of East Haven. She is also survived by numerous nieces/nephews.
