Violet Scobie Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violet Scobie of East Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on May 17, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Violet find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Moore and Violet Moore (Titley); her husband Elwood Scobie; and her sister Alice Tourtellotte. She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Scobie (Jayne) of East Haven and Brian Scobie of Clinton; her granddaughters, Amanda Shalian (Drew) and Olivia Scobie (Andrew Crasco); and her great grandchild Levon Joseph Shalian.
